Joanna Furnace

  Joanna Furnace Complex is an iron furnace that began operating in 1792. It is located in Chester County, Pennsylvania. Joanna furnace was founded by Samuel Potts and named after his wife. In 1979, after the furnace was not in use anymore, it was deeded to the Hay Creek Historical Association. You can visit the furnace and and learn about the history of iron making.
