Lady Raiders Leave Boone Seniors Disappointed

The Twin Valley girls soccer team came out on top again in their 2-1 victory over Daniel Boone last night. Junior Natalie Dorsheimer struck first for the Lady Raiders at 7:15 minutes into the first half. Handling tough blazer defense, Senior Mady Burns scored the second goal for the Raiders with six minutes left in the first half. Senior Hanna Starolis scored for the Blazers with 13 minutes left in the second half but that wasn’t enough to stop Twin Valley. Senior Jordan DeGary, Junior Jessica Kern, and Sophmore Taylor McVay all played strong defensively for Twin Valley.

Coach Lindsay Staufenberg commented, “We played balls to the wall and never stopped fighting”. The Raiders improve their league record to 5-1-1 and will face Exeter at home on Wednesday.

Senior Mady Burns was the Valley’s “Beast of the Game”.
Way to go Mady!
