Twin Valley High School participates in a fantastic program called Leadership Involved in Networking Kids or LINK. LINK is an innovative peer leadership program that gives select students the opportunity to participate in a peer leadership retreat. This retreat is designed to positively influence behaviors, attitudes, mindsets, to improve decision-making processes and to develop leadership skills.
LINK does two trips per school year, one in the Fall and one in the Spring. The Spring retreat took place March 29-31, 2019. Advisors for this years trip were, Mrs. Siegfried, Mr. Hertzler, and Mrs. Leitner. The trip also brings along many other great teachers and a selection of nominated students. Some of the pictures feature, Anna Digiandomenico (9), Emily Lizins (12), Hannah Pegler (9), Rowan Beaton (10), Courtney Bolko (12), Andrew Perzhu (10), Logan Cowden (12), Lexi Swisher (10), Cody Ross (12), Luke Tomasetti (11), and many more wonderful human beings.
On this trip, students and teachers participate in multiple activities that portray team bonding and teach leadership. It also gives a great chance to become much closer with your peers and teachers. The bonds and friendships that are created at LINK truly have a huge impact on everyone that attends. LINK seriously is a life changing event and if you get the honor of being invited, those who have participated in prior trip will highly recommend taking the opportunity to attend. The experience is so unique that many are not able to be put into words the life changing experience.
