Springton Manor was founded by William Penn. Springton Manor Farm with a breathtaking 300 acres, located in Glenmoore, Pennsylvania has many things that families, schools and others can enjoy. They have a family farm museum, a small pond, trails, scenic views, vegetable gardens, pastures with animals and more. They have animals such as pigs, horses, donkeys, goats, chickens and other animals also. They also have an Outdoor classroom for learning purposes of any age group. Springton Manor has been used for agricultural purposes since the 1700’s.
The farm also has sugar maples and penn oaks, ponds and fenced in pastures for scenic view purposes.The Manor House is not open to the public. But, you are able to book weddings, parties and other events at Springton Manor. The parties are offered exclusive catering by people who have award winning culinary and planning expertise. There is also a great barn which is used to store hay, feed, straw and farming equipment on the upper floor. The lower floor is used to hold the animals and for public access to see the animals.
Mr.Vanemon’s 4th block from Twin Valley High School went on a field trip to Springton Manor Farm. They took pictures of landscape, animals, people and many other things.They were there for around an hour and most of the students took pictures till the last possible minute. Their trip was a very good way for them to go out on their own and take pictures.
