Springton Manor Trip

Springton Manor is a 300+ acre public farm founded by William Penn in Glenmoore, Pennsylvania. The farm has been thriving since the 1700’s. It’s also home to many different kinds of farm animals, such as chickens, sheep, goats, and pigs. Several barns, sheds, a museum, a lake, and a house occupy the area.

Springton Manor is open to the general public. Both locals and tourists come to take in the sounds and sights of the beautiful farm. The owners of the farm offer tours of the property during the warmer months of the year. They also offer weddings that take place in the main house. Springton Manor has something for everyone.

Mr. Vanemon’s Advanced Photography class took a field trip to Springton Manor on Tuesday, November 21, 2017. It was brisk, yet warm for a day in the late fall. Every student had fun exploring the farm, and finding the best photo opportunities. The entire class was able to capture pictures regarding every aspect of the farm and it’s occupants.
